Humanity

A human as a single being can be a beautiful, glorious and heavenly thing. Humanity as a group is a terrible monster nightmarish and violent. Perhaps this is the idea of god as a singuler being has embraced by the majority of weston society and the Parathion has been relegated to mythology.

Number 6 of my 11 Gay challenge.
Colonel Tick-Tock.
The pride of the Royal Chrono Patrol and to be honest a bit of a dick. The Colonel is a Whoven like time traveller who under the command of Queen Victoria and with the help of his trick clock (the best part of this segment) he corrects the time stream and makes history happen. This guys sexuality started as ambiguous at best, he had a wife who he had little to no interest in and that didn’t seem to stop him. She’s disappeared and now he’s out and out, almost Oscar Wilde like, without actually saying it. Now he wonders the time stream correcting mistakes and leaving a sting of annoyed and possibly heart broken Lovers behind him.
When I first started listing to Thrilling adventure hour this was my least favourite segment, but it’s grown on me. I really don’t like it when a charter is coded gay for a joke, the whole “poor woman who doesn’t know she’s married to a gay guy how funny.” Thing is really off putting. Also… do americans just assume all British men are gay, where dose that come from?
Anyway… Based on John steed from the Avengers (the British 60s tv show not the marvel comics.
